Daniel Lewis Workman, 71, of Fairmont, passed away on Nov. 1, 2019. Born on Nov. 24, 1947, he is the son of the late Charles and Ruth (Miller) Workman. He was a member of Calvary Chapel in Morgantown.
Daniel was a great dad who always went above and beyond to take care of his family. He was a generous man, almost to a fault, but he knew no strangers and was always friendly and could talk to everybody.
He was extremely well respected for his work ethic. Customers and clients to his lawncare and landscaping business loved and respected him greatly.
In addition to his wife, Sharon (Martin) Workman, he is survived by one son, David Powell II and one grandson, David Powell III; nephew, Chuck Workman; and several other nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will take place at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, from 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, with visitation, until the time of the service at 12 p.m., with Pastor Shawn Frasher officiating.
