Gertrude Virginia Boggs Hamilton Gentile, 104, of Star City, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, at her residence with her family by her side.
Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27. The evening visitation will conclude with a Scriptural Wake Service at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 3334 B University Ave,. from 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John V. DiBacco Jr. as Celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Peace Garden Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gertrude’s honor to Morgantown Hospice, 3596 Collins Ferry Road, Morgantown, WV 26505.
