James “Jim” Richard Lenhart, 80, of Kingwood, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019, at his home with his family by his side.
Jim was born Nov. 8, 1938, in Washington, Pa., a son of the late Paul Norman and Mary E. (Dillow) Lenhart.
He was a 1956 graduate of Kingwood High School, a private business owner and a member of the Albright Baptist Church. One of his biggest enjoyments was being with and spoiling his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, RoseAnn (Bernatowicz) Lenhart; two sons and spouses, James Todd and Mary Lenhart, Scott Allen and Charlotte Lenhart, all of Albright; two brothers and spouses, Robert Ray and Marcella Lenhart, of Bethel Park, Pa., Vaughn Lynn and Nancy Lenhart, of Eden Prairie, Minn.; one sister and spouse, Carol Jean and Patrick DeBerry, of Morgantown; three grandchildren, Ryan Scott Lenhart and fiancée, Emily Ann Spainhour, Ashley Anne Lenhart and Jenna Nicole Lenhart, all of Albright; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and spouse, Norman Paul and Ida Faye Lenhart, Gary Lenhart.
At Jim’s request, there will be a private service with family on Saturday, Oct. 26, with Pastor Joe Lamm officiating. Jim’s wishes to be cremated following the service will be under the direction of the Rotruck-Lobb Crematory in Kingwood.
