Danny “Stroker” Earl Fletcher

Danny “Stroker” Earl Fletcher, 75, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019.
He was born Dec. 7, 1943, son of the late Walter and Willa “Billie” Hawker Fletcher.
Danny served in the Navy aboard the USS Leahy for six years as a radarman and electronic technician. He worked as a machinist for Swanson’s. He enjoyed building model airplanes. He was the master at building and repairing motorcycles, and the owner of Shantytown Cycles. Danny was a life member of Vietnam Vets Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club and was very well-known in the biker community.
He is survived by his daughter, Katie Fletcher and her mother, Kelley Stoneking; his first wife, Patty Fletcher Mays; his aunt, Doris Hawker; several cousins; and all his brothers and sisters in the Vietnam Vets Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club.
In addition, Danny is preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, and from 10 a.m. Thursday.
Oct. 24, until the 11 a.m. funeral service with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. He will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
