Guy Ray “Bub” Costello, 79, of Kingwood, died on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019, at the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
Guy was born Aug. 25, 1940, in Bull Run, a son of the late Shelar and Mabel Gladys (Molisee) Costello.
He had worked as a heavy equipment operator at Greer. Guy loved the outdoors, especially watching deer.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janet Sue (Sirbaugh) Costello of Kingwood; two daughters, Debra Darlene (Costello) Powell of Morgantown; son-in-law, Roy David Powell, Jr. of Kingwood; Sheila Kay Costello of Terra Alta; ex son-in-law, Charles Zinn of Terra Alta; four brothers and spouses, Tony and Miriam Costello of Kingwood, Bud and Norma Costello of Kingwood, Donald and Mary Costello, Jim and Carol Costello of Pleasant City, OH; one sister, Helen Costello of Howesville; seven grandchildren, Shayne Deavers, Christian Funk, Alexis Hoffman, Zachary McCrobie, Christopher Corbin, Cobin Felton, Austin Powell; four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrel Costello Bill Costello; four sisters, Faye Ford, Bonnie Martin, Barbara Walls and Marie Wolfe; one great-grandson, Lucas Ray Corbin.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street, at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2019, until the time of the funeral in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
