Gregory Lee Mowrey, 59, of Morgantown, passed away early Wednesday morning, Oct. 16, 2019, at his residence with his family by his side.
Greg was born June 4, 1960, in Philippi, and was a son of the late Janice Audra Mowrey.
He is survived by his wife, Amy Davis Mowrey; three children, Mike Mowrey, his fiance, Portia Peterson and their daughter, Annabel at home, Jennifer Mowrey, of Hampstead, N.C., and Ryan Mowrey, at home; and a cousin who he thought of more as a sister, Becky Martin and her family of Colfax.
Greg was a fan of anything that had to do with cars or trains. He believed in the magic of Disney and made several trips to Disney World. He was a history buff, particularly of World War II and the Civil War. However, next to being a loving husband and father, he loved his role of being a doting grandpa to Annabel.
Greg requested no services to be held.
