Anna Mae Lazzelle, 70, of Morgantown, was reunited with her late husband, Charles Delano “Chuck” Lazzelle, on Friday, Oct. 11, 2019.
She was born March 18, 1949, in Spraggs, Pa., a daughter of the late Frank and Lucy Stiles.
Anna was first employed at Sterling Faucet Co., where she met her late husband. She later went on to work for Monongalia County schools as a custodian at various schools until her retirement in 2006.
In her spare time, Anna enjoyed knitting, crocheting and her daily trips to Goodwill with her daughter-in-law, Chrissy, to look for knitting supplies. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and spending time at her second home at Big Bear Lake.
She is survived by her sons, Gary Lazzelle and wife, Chrissy, of Morganton, Larry Lazzelle, of York, Pa.; and grandchildren, Zachary “Zack” Lazzelle, Gary “Bub” Lazzelle Jr., Jacob “Boog” Lazzelle, Charles “Russ” Lazzelle, Tyler Dalton and Jayden Buzzo; sisters, Mary Copeland, of Blacksville, Dottie Stiles, of Spraggs, and Betty Haught, of Fairview.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Raber.
Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, and from 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, until the 10 a.m. funeral service with Pastor Donna Dalton officiating. Anna will be laid to rest beside her husband at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Following the interment, the family would to extend an invitation to join them at Brookhaven Fire Department to continue to celebrate Anna’s life. The family asks that you consider bringing a covered dish of your favorite recipe, if you are planning to attend.
