Helen Emily Minor Hupp, 92, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2019, at Sundale. She was born April 7, 1927 in Cameron, a daughter of the late Charles Minor and Elizabeth Cox Minor. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles Elmer Hupp in 2012, whom she married in 1949, her aunt Dessie Cox, in-laws Charles Quay and Anna Danley Hupp, son-in-law, Ted Ehrhardt, sisters, Dorothy M. (Ralph) Mendenhall and Martha M. Wiren Boldizar (Earl/Joe), sister-in-law, Luella Hupp Caldwell (Alva), two nieces, Mary Wiren and Sue Kelley, and nephew Richard Caldwell.
Helen is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Hupp and Emily Ehrhardt Dadisman (George); grandsons, Derrick Ehrhardt (Piper) and Brett Ehrhardt; great-granddaughters, Penelope and Addison; nephews, Charles Mendenhall (Karen) and Chuck Caldwell (Yamile) and nieces Alice Apathy (Kevin), Alane Dey, and Judy Caldwell, along with numerous great nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
According to her wishes, Helen donated her body to the WVU Human Gift Registry. Friends may call at the First Christian Church, 100 Cobun Ave., Morgantown from 1:30, on Oct. 13, until the 2:30 memorial service with Pastor Bob Roberts officiating. Following the service a reception will be held in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Christian Church, 7 North Ave., Cameron, WV 26033 or First Christian Church 100 Cobun Ave., Morgantown, WV 26505.
