Ruth Anne Kloc, 78, of Morgantown, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, at her home.
She was born in Waynesburg, Pa., on Aug. 21, 1941, the daughter of the late George and Anne (Snyder) Sabol.
Ruth Anne graduated with a bachelor’s degree from California University of Pennsylvania and obtained her master’s degree from West Virginia University. Ruth Anne’s love of children led her to become a teacher for over 40 years. She was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority, Catholic Daughters, the Red Hat Society and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed socializing with her friends in bridge club, gourmet club, card club and on vacations at the beach.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Stanley Kloc; children, Curtis John Kloc and spouse, Kristine Reid, of Bedford, N.H., and Christopher George Kloc and spouse, Stacey, of Holly Springs, N.C.; and grandchildren, Ethan Kloc, Justin Kloc, Stella Kloc and Ashley Kloc.
According to her wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home. Friends and family will be received at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 3334B University Ave., Morgantown, from 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7., until the time of the Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. with Fr. John V. DiBacco as celebrant.
