Herschel F. Mathews Sr., 85, of Taylortown, Pa., died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019, at his residence.
Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, from 7-9 p.m. today, and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Visitation continues at First Baptist Church of Dunkard, Taylortown, from 10 a.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m., the time of the service. Interment follows at the Fairview Cemetery, Taylortown, with full military honors by the Point Marion Veterans Posts.
