Randy Lee Ridenour, 55, of Ranson, passed away on Friday, Sept. 13, 2019. He was born on Aug. 3, 1964, in Kingwood, son of Emerson “Emo” Ridenour, of Sinclair, and the late Doris Bell Hershman Ridenour on June 13, 2019.
Randy graduated from Central Preston High School Class of 1982. He worked for Costo in the warehouse and as a cashier since 1996.
Randy loved visiting his family and going to the reunions. He was a hard worker and enjoyed going to the beach. In addition to his father, Randy is survived by two brothers, Ricky Allen Ridenour, of Sinclair, and Rocky “Buckwheat” Ridenour and Connie, of Newburg; one nephew, Rocky E “Cherrio” Ridneour; special cousins, Linda and Gary Schooley, of Tunnelton, and son, Justin Schooley, of Martinsburg; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his mother, Randy was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, George and Pearl Bolyard Ridenour, maternal grandparents, Neil and Annie Waybright Hershman.
Family and friends will be received at the Bolyard Funeral Home, 79 Morgantown St., Newburg, from 1-7 p.m. Sunday, Sept.15, and at the Mount Israel United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. Monday until time of service at 11 a.m. with the Pastor Sonny McNear and Rocky Ridenour officiating.
Burial will follow at the Mount Israel Cemetery at Marquess. Memorial donations can be made in Randy’s memory to Preston County Relay for Life, Attention Teressa Plum, P.O. Box 185, Newburg, WV 26410.
