Patricia (Patty) Graham Snyder, 83, of Kingwood, passed away, Sept. 13, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Reedsville on Nov. 8, 1935, a daughter of the late Wade A. Graham and Juanita Jackson Graham Moore.
Patty worked for the Preston County Board of Education as an aide for 25 years until she retired in July 1996. She was an active member of the St. Sebastian Catholic Church, St. Sebastian Altar Society and the Preston County Association of Retired School Employees.
Patty is survived by three sons and spouses, Richard (Ruth Ann) Snyder, Larry (Emily) Snyder and Randy (Amy) Snyder, all of Kingwood; two daughters and spouses, Karen (Bill) Kurilko, of Kingwood, and Pam (Mark) Hofer, of Concord, N.C.; sixteen grandchildren, Steven Snyder, Brad Snyder, Amanda Seese, Nicholas Snyder, Matthew Kurilko, Kari Moreno, Billy Kurilko, Megan Snyder, Ryan Snyder, Zachary Whyel, Wayne Weaver, Tim Weaver, Rachel Rerek, Zane Rerek, Mark Hofer and Matthew Hofer; 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; two brothers, Scott Graham, of Virginia, and Allen Graham, of West Virginia; one sister, Deborah Harmon, of Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Robert Snyder; son Kevin Snyder; brothers John Graham, Glen Brand, William Brand and Charles Brand; and sisters Sue Williams, Myrtle Gail Brand and Betty Jo Parker.
Friends may call at the Rotruck-Lobb Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15. A Vigil Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., prior to visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, at St. Sebastian’s Church in Kingwood with Father Andrew Switzer as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Howesville.
