Janice Lenore Wilson-Hall age 85 of Daybrook passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2019, at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born Oct. 21, 1933 in Fairmont, a daughter of the late Lillian Pearl Tennant and raised by her grandmother, Maude “Mom” Tennant.
Janice had been employed as a school secretary for the Monongalia County Board of Education and Yost and Yost Pipe Company. Janice was a member of the Daybrook Church of Christ. She also was active in the Clay District Fair and volunteered at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Janice is survived by her husband, James W. Hall, one daughter, Lee Ann (Joe) Shumiloff of Fairview, one son, Chris (Sharon) Wilson of Fairview, step-daughter, Sherry (Jeff) Gould of Galloway, daughter-in-law Susan (Tom) Brinegar of Wadestown, grandchildren, Travis (Mandi) Wilson, Justin (Mary) Wilson, Deken (Stephanie) Wilson, Nicki (Vinny) Rozette, Alex Shumiloff, and Ben Shumiloff and step-grandchild, Ronan Gould and great grandchildren, Sydney, Micah, Ricky, Tucker, Aiden, Cambria, Anna, and Molly.
Janice was preceded in death by her first husband, Ivan “Butts” Wilson, one son Brad Wilson, and one daughter-in-law Karen Ann Wilson.
Friends may call at the Daybrook Church of Christ from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and on Monday from 10-11 a.m. Funeral service with Evangelist Steve Snider and Pastor Fred Eddy II officiating. Burial will follow at Daybrook Cemetery.
