Arthur Paul Moore, 62, of Morgantown, beloved son, husband, brother, uncle, and Pappy Art, passed away at his home on Sept. 5, 2019. Arthur was born in Morgantown on June 12, 1957 to Dorothy M. Simpson of Morgantown and the late Roy Eugene Moore.
Arthur was a millwright, working for ND Paper and had worked at Dulaney Oil Co. for many years. He was a MOPAR enthusiast, who loved motorcycles and had his pilot’s license. He enjoyed attending church, where he was a member of Buckeye United Methodist Church. Art lived his life as an Ambassador for Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Toni Nagy Moore; step-sons: Scott Jeffers (Marla), of Fairmont, and Mike Mackie (Crystal), of Morgantown; grandchildren: Riley, Dalton and Ashlyn Jeffers and Reese Mackie; sisters: Lora Henderson (Ben) and Linda Mankey (Brett); brothers: Richard Moore (Peggy) and Allen Moore (Jody); and nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to a charity of your choice.
Friends are invited to gather at McCulla Funeral Home from 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, until the 5 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Jim Weber officiating.
Following the service, McCulla Funeral Home will provide cremation services.
