MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The West Virginia men’s soccer team will begin the 2019 campaign with a trip to Monmouth at 4 p.m. Friday at Hesse Field in West Long Branch, N.J.
The No. 23 Mountaineers return nine players who started at least 15 matches on last season’s 14-win team, which featured the program’s first MAC regular-season championship and an appearance in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
