MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The University High boys’ cross-country team finished first in the Knight Night relays Saturday, the girls finished second. The Morgantown girls won the girls’ relay.
The Preston and Morgantown boys’ teams rounded out the top three. The Preston girls’ team finished third.
Jackson Core (7:33.2), Quinn Jacquez (7:48.2) and Charles Smith (8:08.1) finished with the fastest times for the Morgantown boys’ team. Athena Young (8:34.7), Lea Hatcher (8:35.7) and Irene Riggs (8:38.3) finished with the fastest times for the girls.
Josh Edwards (7:19.4), Rocco DeVincent (7:37.3) and Jordan Thomas (7:53.4) finished with the fastest times for the University boys’ team. Carolina Kirby (8:44.0), Zoe Shetty (8:45.5) and Hermione Vos (9:19.5) finished with the fastest times for the girls.
Cole Friend (7:42.5), Trey Smith-Tatham (7:43.8) and Hayden Thomas (7:49.7) finished with the fastest times for the Preston boys’ team. Allie Marton (9:04.6), Chloe Stark (9:07.8) and Abby Nolan (9:34.7) finished with the fastest times for the girls.
