Virginia Marie Walls, 81, of Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 8, 1938, in Canyon, a daughter of the late Floyd Raymond Pancoast Jr. and Mildred Lucille (Riskey) Pancoast.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and in her free time liked yard sales.
She is survived by her children, Charles “Billy” Walls Jr. and his wife, Brenda, Darla Brown, Wayne Walls, and Vickie Davies, all of Morgantown; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters, Naomi Hartley and her husband, Paul and Carolyn Grazulis and her husband, Bill; and sister-in-law, Mary “Sis” Pancoast.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Charles William “Bill” Walls Sr.; and a brother, Floyd “Buzz” Pancoast III.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later time and a private family committal service will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery at a later time.
