Audis Gene Bolyard, 70, of Masontown, passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at home.
He was born in Cascade, on Dec. 29, 1948, a son of the late Robert Gene Bolyard and the late Wanda Blanche (Cress) Cobb.
He was employed as a janitor for many years at The Stone Crab Inn, Bent Willey’s and Sullivans.
Audis is survived by one daughter, Georgianna “Pee Wee” Mitter and husband, Brian, of Masontown; one son, Larry Bolyard and wife, Tina, of Masontown; four grandchildren, Michael Mitter, April Greathouse, Holly Cress and Cody Mitter; four great-grandchildren, Dawn Marie Mitter, Autumn Nicole Mitter, Whitney Cress and Bryson Cress; two brothers, Paul Bolyard and wife, Brenda, of Tunnelton, and Arthur Alan Cobb, of Masontown; and two sisters, Jeri Lynn Mitter, of Tunnelton, and Elsie Martin and husband, Rex, of Kingwood.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Pat” (Taylor) Bolyard; one daughter, Charlotte Greathouse; a grandson, Kirk “KC” Blythe III; and a sister, Dorsey Mitter.
Friends may call at Field Funeral Home, in Masontown, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 23, at the funeral home with the Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery in Masontown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Field Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
