Evelena C. Howard, 101, of Aurora, died Friday Aug. 16, 2019, at Pine Ridge Nursing Home in Kingwood.
The daughter of the late Charles and Lily Watkins Stobel, she was born Jan. 9, 1918, in Vandalia, Ill.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Dawn Sisler and spouse Harrison, of Terra Alta, and Duane S. Howard; three great-grandchildren, Andrea and Ashley Sisler and Bethani Howard; and three great-great-grandchildren Jaden, Raylee and Rowen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Howard in 1997 and her son and daughter-in-law, Donald S. and Gloria Howard in 2009. She was the last surviving member of her family.
Cremation services will be provided by Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta.
