Rosemary Lynne Kennedy, 69, of Morgantown died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 17, 1950, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Walter O. and Margaret Morris White.
Rose was a loving wife, stepmother, grandmother and sister; was a billing manager for UHA-Ruby with 35 years of service and a member of the Reedsville United Methodist Church. She loved riding her motorcycle, watching different sporting events, working in her flowers, cooking and baking. Her cats, Oreo and Kroger adored her.
Rose is survived by her husband of 24 years, Rick Kennedy; her stepson, Brice Kennedy, her two stepdaughters, Angela Kennedy and Cara Rose Kennedy, all of Morgantown; her brother, Morris D. White, of Newton Falls, Ohio; her sister, Jacqueline Turner, of Reedsville; a stepgrandson, Seth Kennedy; an expected stepgrandson in January and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis White and Philip White.
Family will receive friends at Morgan Funeral Home, in Reedsville, from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, where the service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, with Chaplain David Spence officiating. Interment will follow at Zoar Cemetery near Morgantown.
