Carolyn Sue Kirchmar, 72, of Morgantown, died Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 31, 1946, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Olan and Gertrude (Bigler) Dick.
She was a member of Westover United Methodist Church and worked for 22 years at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the West Virginia Horseman Association and the Masontown VFW and VVA of Preston County Auxillary Groups.
She is survived by her spouse, Jim Kirchmar; son, Charles David Chipps; stepchildren, Larry Burns and his wife, Linda, and Sheri DeBari and her husband, Jamie; and sister, Marty Smith and her husband, Steve. She is also survived by many stepgrandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 5-8 p.m. Friday, and from 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, until the 2 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Jim Weber officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
