The owner of two Pierpont Centre buildings, totaling a combined 75,670-square-feet of space, has put them up for sale for $7.85 million.
Included in the sale is 8.42 acres the structures sit on, according to Black Diamond Realty, which has the listing.
Officials from Black Diamond declined to comment on the investment property or why they have been put up for sale. The two buildings were constructed in 2006-07.
Documents show the buildings are owned by Marion Developers of Morgantown and Fairmont. Marion Developers did not return a phone call seeking comment on the commercial real estate listing.
The larger of the two buildings, 869 Venture Drive, is two floors and 69,670 square feet, Black Diamond said. Tenants in that building, which sits next to Price Cutters (formerly Shop ‘n’ Save), include WVU Medicine, Family Dollar, Cricket Wireless, NV Nails and Edible Arrangements. There are four rental units on the lower floor. WVU Medicine has space on the first and second floors, and there is an elevator. The building used to house Star Furniture.
The smaller building at 849 Venture Drive is 6,454 square feet and is the home of Fujiyama, a Japanese restaurant. Both buildings are fully leased and price per square foot is $102.56.
The 47-acre retail development, which sits off Interstate 68’s exit 7, is anchored by Lowe’s. Other Pierpont tenants include Talbot’s, Pier 1 Imports, Outback Steakhouse, Clear Mountain Bank and Books-A-Million.
