Linda Sue Salisbury Knopp, 59, of Monaca, passed into her eternal home Sunday, July 21, 2019. She was born Sept. 28, 1959, to the late Paul S. Salisbury Sr. and Ada Mae Sine of Morgantown. She also predeceased by a sister, Eddie Salisbury.
Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband and love of her life, John Knopp of Monaca; a son, Mark Sangston of New York; stepson, Evan Knopp of Monessan; grandchildren, Adam Sangston and Sherman Sangston also of New York; a sister, Mary Martin (Ralph) of Point Marion; a brother, Paul Salisbury Jr. (Charlene) of Masontown; a nephew, Shelby Salisbury (Mikki) of Waynesburg, Pa.; a great-niece, Brooklynn; an uncle, Keith Klink (Pat) of Beaulaville, N.C., whom she adored; and many cousins and friends.
She recently worked as an aide in Monaca, taking care of elderly patients. It was always her passion to help those in need. She also worked many years in Morgantown at then Ruby Memorial Hospital and K.C. Uniforms.
There will be no visitation per her wishes. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. She wanted everyone to remeber her as she was. Donations are welcome in her memory to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org
