Tara Nicole Kirkendall, 39, of Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening, July 21, 2019, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 4, 1979, in Fairmont, a daughter of James Michael Kirkendall and his wife, Kim, of Morgantown, and Nancy Christine Wise, of Fairmont.
Additionally, she is survived by her daughter, Kaylie Laskody, of Morgantown; a sister, Bridget Kirkendall, of Lubbock, Texas; a special aunt and uncle Pam and Rick Coon; and cousin, Marcella Barto and her children Jaxon and Mikayla.
She was preceded in death by a half brother, Shawn Wise.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tara’s life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover / Morgantown, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, July 26. Following the gathering, the family’s request for cremation will be honored.
