MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Neal Brown era of West Virginia football will begin in sunlight — weather permitting, of course.
The Mountaineers will kick off their 2019 season against FCS opponent James Madison at 2 p.m. on Aug. 31. The game will be televised by AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh. The Dukes are ranked No. 2 in the FCS by Athlon Sports.
Brown is making his West Virginia debut after being hired to replace Dana Holgorsen in January.
Five game times have been announced for the upcoming season.
