MORGANTOWN — Typically, milling around the park involves a lazy afternoon, maybe a Frisbee and a pooch of some description.
This week, however, crews were literally milling around Marilla Park — as in removing the surface of East Brockway Avenue as part of Morgantown’s summer paving program.
According to the city’s communications office, milling on East Brockway is complete.
“Changes are being made to the paving schedule and the exact dates that paving will occur on East Brockway is still being determined,” Communications Specialist Krysta Chotkowski explained. “The city will release information regarding paving when it becomes available.”
Chotkowski said work on East Brockway in and around Marilla Park isn’t expected to impact park activities.
