Joshua Matthew Hetz, 23, of Grantsville, Md., passed on Saturday, April 20, 2019.
Born June 17, 1995, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of Scott Hetz and Trina, Friendsville, Md. and the late Sherri (Beachy) Hetz. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ronald Hetz; and his maternal grandparents, Richard and Karen Beachy.
He is survived by two brothers, Jeff Beachy and Jordan Hetz, both of Grantsville; three sisters, Ashley Hetz, of Grantsville, Danita and husband, Rhett Gaster, of Accident, Md., Misty Paugh and fiancé, Austin Bendler, of Aurora; and one niece, Madeline Bendler.
Josh’s pride and joy was his dog, Cash, whom he left behind.
He was employed by Preferred Surfaces, Morgantown, and enjoyed working with marble and installing countertops. He often made masterpieces for people.
Along with his work, Josh also enjoyed hanging out with his siblings and many friends. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed working on and building vehicles.
Josh was full of life, with a great sense of humor. He will always be remembered in the hearts of many.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, 179 Miller St., Grantsville, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 30. Interment will be at Grantsville Cemetery.
