More than 20 area eateries took some of their top dishes to Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place Thursday evening to help the American Red Cross make some money.
The Taste of West Virginia, one of the agency’s most successful local fundraisers allowed patrons to pay $35 for a single ticket or $60 for a couple and sample an array of foods.
Participants included 1863 Appalachian Bistro, Benny Velino’s, Black Bear Burritos, Bourbon Prime, Bridgeport Conference Center, Cody’s, The Farmhouse Cafe, Flying Fish & Co., Jasmine Grill, Chef Larry Lee, Mia Margherita Coal Fired Pizzeria, Morgantown Brewing Co., Morgantown Flour & Feed, PeppeBroni’s Pizza, The Preston County Inn, The Rambling Root, Smokin’ Jack’s, Table9, Tailpipes, This and That Bakery and Tutto Gelato Cafe.
According to the American Red Cross West Virginia Region, “proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross Home Fire Campaign to help deliver relief and recovery services to people affected by home fires, as well as lifesaving home fire safety tools and information to better prepare West Virginia families.”
