Jack Lee Bartholomew, 73, of Brave, Pa., died Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Washington Hospital in Washington, Pa.
He was born March 20, 1946, in Bradford, Pa., a son of the late Marion Bartholomew and Louise Tuttle Bartholomew.
Jack was a retired machinist.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Carla Kostka Bartholomew; two daughters, Amy Beatty and her husband, Steve and Bobbie Apel; a daughter-in-law, Lori Bartholomew; a son-in-law, Ed Briggs; two brothers, Ron Toothman, of Macdale, and Richard Bartholomew and his wife, Sharon, of Pentress; grandchildren and their spouses, Terry Bartholomew, Tim and Jordan Steffanizzi, Alex and Tristan Apel, Matt Stefanizzi, Tyler Bartholomew, Andrew and Emily Apel, Jeremy Apel, Travis and Kyrstin Bartholomew, Rae-Lynn and Adam Ringer, Thomas Bartholomew and Leann Bartholomew; four great-grandchildren, Reagan Stefanizzi, Adalynn Ringer, Austin Apel and Theo Bartholomew; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Rich Bartholomew; a daughter, Jackie Briggs; and one brother, Robert Toothman.
Friends may call at Owen-Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, from 5-7 p.m. Saturday. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. At Mr. Bartholomew’s request, his body will be cremated following the services.
