Stephen John Kwiatkowski, DDS, 76, of Morgantown, died Friday, June 14, 2019.
He was born Jan. 29, 1943, in Jersey City, N.J., a son of Stephen L. and Adele Compala Kwiatkowski.
He was a 1960 graduate from Piscataway High School in New Jersey. He later attended Alliance College in Cambridge Springs, Pa. Stephen graduated in 1969 from West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served in Boston from 1969 until 1973. Following his military discharge, Stephen taught at West Virginia University School of Dentistry (Crown and Bridge).
He was Catholic by faith, a proud member of the NRA and a member of the dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Epsilion. Stephen was a member of the Chief Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation in South Dakota and was a supporter of the St. Joseph Indian School. Stephen was also a proud supporter of various pet rescue leagues. His family extends their sincere gratitude to his doctors and caregivers.
Surviving are son, Stephen J. Kwiatkowski II; brother, Eric (Cathy) Kwiatkowski, DDS, of Hanover, Pa.; sister, Adele M. (Kevin) Shello, of Branchburg, N.J.; several nieces and nephews; his furry friends, Buddy and Macy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Richard B. Kwiatkowski, DDS, and Ronald J. Kwiatkowski; and furry friends, Maxwell and Arial.
All services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services LTD, 30 East College St., Canonsburg.
