Veronica is survived by her loving husband, Steven Campbell; and her daughters, Bridgette and Christy, who were the loves and joy of her life. She is also survived by her niece, Lauren Fox, who she thought of as her granddaughter; nephew, Jordan Fox, who she thought of as her grandson; nephew, Ralph Fox III, who she thought of as a brother, and Ralph Fox IV who she loved as a son. She is also survived by her brother, Leonard Konchesky and niece, Tatiana Denning; nephew, Donny Konchesky and niece, Karen Bodkin; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Konchesky and nephews, Drew, Mike, Tommy, Bobby, David, Johnny, Danny and Sean Konchesky; and many friends, especially Carol Fox Warren and her lifelong friend Brenda Lattanzi.
The family of Veronica would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Mid-Atlantic Retina Consultations and Dr. Allan Hess’ office, who treated her like family and whom she thought of as her family. They would also like to thank the emergency room staff at Mon Health Medical Center who gave a valiant effort to preserve her life.
Family and friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday with a vigil at 6:30pm. Veronica will lie in repose at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church from 10 a.m. Thursday, June 6, until the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati, STD, VE, as celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Peace Garden Mausoleum.
