Edna (McCabe) Maine, 70, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Allegheny General Hospital, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born February 8, 1949, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late James Robert and Easter Belle McCabe.
Edna worked for 44 years with Monongalia County Schools as a secretary at Vo Tech. In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing and camping in Romney. She loved all of her family and her extended family at Wapocoma Campground in Romney. Most of all she cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Allen Maine; daughter, Robyn McDaniel and husband Jim; grandchildren, Nathan McDaniel, Alanna McDaniel, all of Morgantown; sisters, Sally Nestor and husband Terry, of Morgantown, Terriann Massullo, of Cripple Creek, Colo.; brother, Kramer McCabe and wife Dottie, of Morgantown; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby McCabe.
Friends will be received at Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 4 – 8 p.m. on Monday, May 27, and from 11 a.m. on Tuesday, until the time of funeral services at 12 p.m. with Pastor Robert McCabe officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens.
