Rosanna Clise, 62, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, in Morgantown.
Rosanna was born in Morgantown, on May 25, 1956, the daughter of the late Junior Russell Taylor and Evelyn Inez (Cottrill) Anderson.
She was a member of the CMA Church and was very fond of all the doctors, coworkers and staff at the WVU Department of Medicine where she worked since 1974. She was an avid animal lover and the best cook ever and loved making her house a home. She was proud to be a surrogate mother to all of her son’s friends.
Survivors include her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 42 years, Dave Clise; son, David A. Clise II and very dear friend, Holli Heiskell, Adam Clise and wife Brittany Clise, all of Morgantown; granddaughter, Charleigh Rosanna Clise and two step grandchildren; siblings, Roxanne Sterling, Carolyn Taylor, Kathy Huffman and her husband Ron, Junior Russell Taylor II and his wife Viktoriya; mother-in-law, Doris M. Clise; sisters-in-law; Jane Dinardi and her husband Dave, Linda Solomon and her husband Bill; and also many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Vernon Anderson; and her beloved grandmother, Flossye Cottrill.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ma, Dr. Darbandi, long time friend, Dr. Jack Parker, and all of the nurses and staff for all of their love and care. The support and prayers from Pastor Doug Miller, the CMA Church, their neighbors, and friends were and will continue to be very appreciated.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home. Per her wishes a memorial service will be planned in the distant future in conjunction with a service upon her husband’s passing.
