MORGANTOWN — Conner Austin Melton, a juvenile from Marion County who was reported missing, is now safe.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department asked for the public’s assistance finding Conner Friday after his family reported they had not seen him since the family went to bed May 16. When they woke at 4 a.m., Conner was not home. His bicycle was later found along the guardrail on Meadowdale Road near Gabriel Brothers. The family has received reports via social media of a possible early morning sighting of Conner near Elkins Street and Morgantown Avenue in Fairmont.
