Lawrence Robert “Bob” McMillen

Lawrence Robert “Bob” McMillen, 59, of the Kingwood Pike, Morgantown passed peacefully Wednesday, May 1, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at Allegheny General Hospital, in Pittsburgh. Bob fought courageously for more than 20 years against heart failure. He is finally at rest.

Bob was an avid lover of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was also a very talented carpenter. Projects from the smallest toys to finishing his own home and kitchen, he took great pride in the craftsmanship of working with his hands. Bob was a great story teller. Those closest to him can recount the many adventures he experienced. Everything from his “graduation” from Fairmont State University to joining the Peace Corps, Bob could entertain you for hours on end.
