MORGANTOWN — The Morgantown High softball team fell to Brooke, 3-2, in Wednesday’s game.
The Mohigans led 2-1 after five innings, but Brooke scored two runs in the final two innings to clinch the victory.
Grace Haines pitched all seven innings for Morgantown, but got the loss despite tossing 13 strikeouts. She allowed three runs on seven hits and four walks.
Brooke Pyles led the Mohigans at the plate, finishing the game 2-for-3 with one RBI.
Morgantown couldn’t get much else offensively, collecting a total of four hits.
