Palmer said the victim was shot in an extremity and is not being named for safety reasons. He did not elaborate on what continued threat exist. The victim was taken to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Hudson was arrested on Pennsylvania Avenue, in Greenmont, in a joint operation between Monongalia County Sheriff’s detectives, the Morgantown Police Department SWAT, Mon County SWAT and Mon Metro Drug Task Force.
MMDTF commander R. Jiles said Hudson was found with a .45 caliber semiautomatic handgun. He said the gun will need to be sent to a lab so ballistics can determine if it’s linked to the shooting.
