BRIDGEPORT — Teams from Guyan Golf & County Club in Huntington tied for third in the Tri-State PGA/Dick’s Sporting Goods Pro-3 Amateur event Monday.
Stuart Wiley joined Chris Preston, Scott Pierson and Kenny Black at 9-under, two shots off the lead.
Guyan’s other team of Rick Ellison, Ikie Light, Mark Newfeld and Josh Stoll tied for third.
The tournament was staged at Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport.
Wheeling Country Club’s team of Jason Robinson, Ian Patrick, Tim Roberts and David Shaffer finished 7-under, tied for ninth.
The Robert Morris RMU Island Sports Golf Dome team won top prize at 11-under, featuring James Cichra, Bob Stoops, Don Shaub and Phil Plant.
