Ethel Marie Plishka, 79, of Mount Morris, Pa., died Sunday, April 21, 2019, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born May 21, 1939, in Granville, a daughter of the late Steve Cyzick and Anna Sych Cyzick.
Ethel worked as a caregiver and took care of people in their homes and in hers. She also worked as a fraternity cook and was Catholic by faith.
Surviving are her husband, Harry Plishka; one son, Steve Plishka of Mount Morris; three daughters and their spouses, Wendy and Rock Levanduski, of Cadillac, Mich., Donna and William Gambell, of Waynesburg, Pa., and Melody and Andy Feezle, of Waynesburg; two brothers, Andy Cyzick and Raymond Cyzick; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; although they all believed to be her favorite each one was favorite in their own special way; and Debra Manchas, who was her favorite daughter and Roger Lemley, who was someone whom she loved as a son.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Cyzick; two sisters, Nellie Yaromey and Teresa Speelman; one grandson, Ryan Gambell; and one great-granddaughter, McKinley Anne Shultz.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no services.
