MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Devon Neal led Morgantown High from the plate, collecting two hits and four RBIs, as the Mohigans cruised to an easy 15-1 win over Mount Tabor (N.C.) in five innings Friday.
Morgantown scored 11 runs in the first three innings and tallied 10 hits.
Gavin Cottle and Preston Fox each had two hits. Ethan Smith drove in two RBIs.
Colton Matthews got the win for the Mohigans (20-2). He pitched all five innings and allowed just one run on just three hits and two walks. Matthews also collected four strikeouts.
