Gary Ray Myers, 56, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019, at WVU Medicine with his family by his side.
Gary was born in Morgantown on March 6, 1963, to Junior Ray Myers and Thelma Deloris Bohon Myers, of Masontown.
Gary graduated from University High School in 1981 and later attended WVU School of Engineering. Gary was hard working and enjoyed his work as a flooring salesman and as a delivery driver for the Senior Monongalians Meals on Wheels. In his free time, Gary enjoyed watching NASCAR and working on cars. He loved spending time with his family, and would always plan special activities like camping, canoeing and ski trips, to make their time together fun.
In addition to his parents, Gary is survived by his daughter, Kailey Lynn Myers, of Louisiana; son, Gavin Lee Myers, of Charlotte, N.C.; sister, Stephanie Myers-Coste of Masontown; nephew, Christian Tyler Coste; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Monday, April 15, and from 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, until the 11 a.m. funeral service with the Rev. Dr. David Spence and Pastor Chris Baker officiating. Burial will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
