Dolores Mae Mayle, 83, of Bruceton Mills, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 11, 2019.
Dolores was born to the late Hoy and Dorothy (Mayle) Norris on March 3, 1936, in Philippi. She was a 1954, graduate of Philip Barbour High School.
Dolores loved gardening, canning and singing in church. She was a devoted, loving, wife and a wonderful grandmother who loved spending time with her family.
Dolores is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lemuel Junior Mayle; two daughters, Victoria Edwardsm of Middletown, Del. (Richard), Cynthia Mazzotta, of Bear, Del. (Gregory); six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Trent Norris; of Painesville, Ohio (JoAnne).
She was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Robin Kessler, in April, 2009.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home, 220 N. Walnut St., Philippi, from 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, until the 1 p.m. service hour with Pastor Joe Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in the Norris Cemetery.
