FAIRMONT — Police identify the victim in a fatal Fairmont shooting and search for a Morgantown man in connection with the incident.
Justin KaShaun Hughes, 27, of Fairmont, died Wednesday after someone fired a single gunshot along Hawthorne Street.
When police arrived on scene, the victim was still alive, but died as a result of his wound while neighbors were attempting to administer aid.
The vehicle police had been searching for has been located and is in Fairmont Police Department’s custody.
A first-degree murder warrant has been issued for Christopher Tyrone Keldo, 27, of Morgantown. According to a release, Keldo also uses the alias’ Chris Kavali, Kavali Rose and Tyrone Cutler and has connections in Maryland, Virginia and South Carolina.
If anyone knows the whereabouts of Chistopher Keldo, contact the Fairmont Police Department at 304-366-4200 or 911. Do not approach, Keldo is considered armed and dangerous.
