Shane Christopher Cebulak

Shane Christopher Cebulak, 31, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019.

Shane was born in Morgantown on Oct. 10, 1987, a son of Ronald and Monica Morris Cebulak, of Morgantown.
All throughout Shane’s younger years, he was a member of the Laurel  Point Comanche 4-H Club where he made life-long friends, where his passion grew for raising and showing cattle and where he won Grand Champion at the State Fair. While  in the 4-H club, Shane was a member of the County Livestock Judging Team and the County Shooting Sports Team.
Shane graduated from University High School in 2006 and went on as  a student at West Virginia University, where he studied agribusiness management. He was a member  of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.

As his passion grew deeper for cattle, Shane became no stranger to the cattle industry. He continued showing, fitting and clipping all over the United States. Shane recently found another new hobby with horses. He loved going to cattle sortings and pennings with his brother.
Shane worked in the food service industry for most of his career, as well as in the gas and pipe-line industry.
In addition to his parents, Shane is survived by his brother, Chad Michael Cebulak and wife, Sarah, of Morgantown; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Betty Jo Morris, of Westover; paternal grandfather, Ronald Cebulak, of Dunbar, Pa.; his daughter, Makilee Rose Cebulak; his son, Chauncy Arthur Allen Miker; aunt and uncle, Cynthia and Jim Gaspie, of Whitehall; and several other family members.
Shane was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Dolores Jean Cebulak.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, WV 26501, to offset funeral expenses.
Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, until the 7 p.m. funeral service with Pastor Kevin Cain officiating. McCulla Funeral Home will provide cremation services following the funeral service.
