Priscilla Laurie

Priscilla Constance (Pratt) Laurie, age 70, of Morgantown,  passed away suddenly on Friday, March 22, 2019. She was born on October 1, 1948, in Morgantown,  to Harold Richardson and Ruth Elizabeth (Sisler) Pratt.
She grew up in Westover. She married Don David Laurie on December 12, 1968, and they celebrated their 50th anniversary December 2018. She graduated from University High School in 1966. She lived in her childhood home with her husband, children and mother in Westover until 1983, when she and her husband, Don built a home in Star City, where they have resided until the present day.
She was a lover of animals and made a home to several dogs, and in more recent years, parrots. She was a neighborhood mom who made her children’s friends feel at home on their frequent visits. Over the years, she dabbled in various sewing and crafting hobbies, as well as being an excellent cook.
She is survived by her husband, Don Laurie, of Morgantown; her daughter, Dawn Marie Loria, of Irving, Texas;  her son, Christopher Matthew Laurie and wife, Heather (Wigton) Laurie, of Fairmont; step-daughter, Terri Loria, of Vienna, Va.;  grandchildren, Samuel Page,  Joseph Page, Isabella Laurie, Gabriel Laurie, Grace Laurie, Rose Marie Laurie, Margarite  Laurie, Alexander Loria and Lauren Loria; brother, Harold Richardson (Rick) Pratt, Jr. and his wife, Lucy (Law) Pratt; nephew, Brian Jon Jones; niece, Rachael Pratt; nephew, Ryan Pratt; and father-in-law, Clyde Drews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Richardson Pratt, Sr.;  mother, Ruth Elizabeth (Sisler) Pratt; and her sister, Gertrude Grace (Trudy) (Sisler) Jones.
Service will take place at a later date.
