PARKERSBURG — In the first match Saturday, the Morgantown girls’ tennis team was able to sweep Parkersburg.
In singles, Emme McKnight won (8-0), Cat Wassick won (8-4), Mackenzie Sorton won (8-4) and Bella Mascari won (8-2).
In doubles, the team of McKnight and Wassick won (8-3), the team of Sorton and Mascari won (8-2) and the team of Ashalia Aggarwal and Kassie Regules won (9-7).
Morgantown 6, Huntington 1 (Game 2)
PARKERSBURG — The Morgantown girls had no problem with Huntington in the second match.
In singles, Emme McKnight won (8-0), Mackenzie Sorton won (8-4) and Bella Mascari won (8-2).
In doubles, the team of McKnight and Wassick won (8-4), the team of Sorton and Mascari won (8-1) and the team of Ashalia Aggarwal and Kassie Regules won (8-2).
Huntington’s only win was by forfeit.
The Mohigans improve their record to 7-1 and will play again Monday at Parkersburg South.
