Phyllis Ann Roy, age 75, of Reedsville, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019, at WVU Medicine. She was born October 8, 1943, in Fairmont, a daughter of the late Wilbert Thorn and Betty Kittle Thorn.
Phyllis was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church of Tunnelton and enjoyed being outdoors, camping and fishing. She also loved to sew, color, cross stitch, and crochet. Phyllis was a wonderful homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was deeply loved by many and will genuinely missed by many.
Phyllis is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Roy; three sons, Bob Roy (Tina), of Arthurdale, Tom Roy (Valerie), of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Mike Roy (Dorothy), of Reedsville; grandchildren, Kayla Brown (Dustin), Amy Newlin, Levi Fielder and Amanda Frame; and two sisters, Nancy Digon, and Darlene King (Rick).
Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Westover, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 25, and from 10 a.m. on Tuesday, until the 11 a.m. funeral service with the Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
