Cynthia Dawn ‘Cindy’ Stone, 54, of Morgantown, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Cindy courageously battled through illness for many years and is now free from pain. She was born December 12, 1964, in Mt. Vernon, Ill.
Cindy worked out of her home for many years, babysitting the neighborhood children. She cared deeply for the little ones in her care and will forever be remembered for her love and devotion. She will also be remembered for her world-famous peperoni rolls. The most important thing to Cindy was her family.
She was Methodist by faith.
Cindy is survived by her father, Philip Cale, of Morgantown; two sons, Dustin Glover and companion, Jesse Jenkel and Garrett Glover; one sister, Janice Collins and husband, Greg; one brother, Dean Cale; niece, Caitlyn Collins; nephew, Kyle Collins, all of Morgantown; also several aunts, uncles, cousins; extended family and her faithful canine companion, Peewee.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma Jean Cale; and her father, Alfred Glover.
Family will receive friends at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home from 3- 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, andfrom 10 a.m. on Monday, until time of services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Janice Smith officiating. Honoring Cindy’s wishes, cremation will follow and a private inurnment will be at the convenience of the family.
