Thomas E. Walls, 71, of Pursglove, passed away Wednesday morning, March 20, 2019, at his residence.
He was born September 30, 1947, in Morgantown, a son of the late Everett and Juanita Roderick Walls.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Louise (Steele) Walls; his children, George and wife, Brandi, Scott and wife, Nikki, and Jackielynn and husband, Jo; eight grandchildren, Justis, Kadence, Destinyann, Dakotalynn, Alan, Jojo, Sheryl, and Johnathan; and his siblings, Sharon Lynch and husband, Butch, Carrie Leach and husband, Jim, Juanita Hilling and husband, Terry, Kenny Walls, Glenn Walls and Jim and wife, Nancy Walls.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Don and Bobby.
The family would like to send a sincere thank you to the nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice, particularly nurses, Melissa, Tammy and Sabrina, for the care and support during Tom’s illness, and to the Granville Ladies Auxiliary, Carolyn and Kay.
Friends may join the family to honor Tom’s life and legacy at Smith Funeral & Cremation Care, 108 Holland Ave., Westover, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, and from 3 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. officiated by the Reverend Raymond Morris.
Following the funeral service, Tom’s request for cremation will be honored by his family.
