MORGANTOWN — The Morgantown baseball team got off to a hot start against Fairmont Senior on Tuesday night, scoring four runs in the first inning and five in the second in a 13-3 win at Mylan Park.
Caleb Taylor, Devon Neal and Charlie Kerzak each drove in two runs, while Gavin Cottle and Carter Patrick each had one RBI. Quintin Smith had two hits to lead Mohigans.
Charlie Petty earned the win on the mound, tossing 3 2/3 innings, allowing one run on two hits.
MHS (2-0) will travel to Wheeling Park at 5 p.m. Friday.
